What Will You Become

    Air Traffic Managers- manage the daily activities and operations at airports, which could include compliance with legal and safety measures, timeliness and general order in the airport

    Aviation Planners-  They work in background of airport facilities, infrastructure and air service planning are in a good position to be employed as an aviation planner

    Resource Manager - Responsible for ensuring the coordination of aircraft and crew, Aviation Resource Management specialists make sure that missions run as smoothly as possible.

    Purchase Manager- The purchase manager is responsible for coordinating the purchase plan for all the goods necessary to carry out the business of the airline

    Flight Dispatcher- An aircraft dispatcher is employed by an airline and is heavily involved in the pre-planning of flights to ensure the safety of the trip. Flight dispatchers’ co-ordinate all activities on the ground at an airport to ensure the safe, quick and efficient turnaround of aircraft from when they land

    Airlines Station Agent - Works at the arrival and departure gates of an airport that involve helping people with carry-on baggage, coordinating seat assignments, working with changes in plane scheduling, and other responsibilities that help keep the airline operation streamlined.

    • Fleet Management ­- Fleet managers take care of the logistics of maintaining a fleet of aircraft so that companies that rely on aircraft transportation in their business can remove or minimize the risks associated with aircraft investment, improving efficiency and productivity
    • Ground Handling - to facilitate an aircraft flight or aircraft ground repositioning, preparation for and upon conclusion of a flight which will include both customer service and ramp service functions.
    • Customer Service- support to customers regarding queries, problems or concerns they have about travel and logistics. They may also assist with baggage reclaim, reservations, check-in processes and ticketing mechanisms before a flight
    • Crew Scheduling-  crew schedulers are responsible for managing the day-to-day flight activities of crew members while also ensuring compliance with department standards
    • Safety and Security- A dedicated team of trained police force is employed for airport and aircraft safety. The security staff takes the help of sniffer dogs to detect any unclaimed object lying around the airport
    • In- Flight Service - Inflight services are those provided to or affecting aircraft inflight or otherwise operating on the airport surface
    • Ticketing- The Ticketing Officer helps passengers to plan for their trips. He / She answers questions on travel arrangements such as routes and time schedules
    • Medical Tourism-  Facilitates the  traveling outside the country of residence for the purpose of receiving medical care

    About Aviation Industry

    • The industry directly providing more than 23.5 million jobs per year.  Approx. 2.5-5 lacs jobs being created in the Indian Aviation Industry solely.
    • UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme has broaden up the career avenues in aviation sector. 
    • It is a regional airport development and "Regional Connectivity Scheme" (RCS) of Government of India, with the objective of "Let the common citizen of the country fly", aimed at making air travel affordable and widespread, to boost inclusive national economic development, job growth and air transport infrastructure development of all regions and states of India.
