
Dr. Pravina Koteshwar - Principal
MBBS, MD (Pharmacology)
A clinical pharmacologist graduated from Karnataka institute of Medical sciences, Hubli, with research and academic experience of 13 years. In addition to the clinical experience, she has served the industry as a Medical Advisor & Head of Pharmacology & Toxicology Dept at R&D Centre, Natural Remedies (Bangalore). She played key role in preclinical (animal) and clinical research, scientific review and publications. Her research was focused mainly on the drug development related to neurology, metabolic disorders, allergy & Immunology. At ICRI, she is playing the versatile role as a faculty, research guide, administrator and corporate trainer for past four and half years. She is the National Coordinator and Course Director in India for M.Sc. Clinical Research of Cranfield University, UK. As senior faculty member of ICRI academic board, contributed greatly in setting up quality standards at ICRI, India; also represents ICRI, at Cranfield, UK, in decisions on implementing the policies and procedure related to the postgraduate teaching and evaluation standards. She has represented the faculty board of ICRI in the inspection of British Accreditation Council for the international campus at UK. She has initiated and strengthened the industry-academia collaborative training and research programs. As a founder member and secretary of ICRI Independent Ethics Committee - Bangalore (IIECB), her contributions to bioethics and clinical research is remarkable. Her research interest includes neurodegenerative, metabolic disorders, and oncology as therapeutic focus and drug safety. She has many national and international publications to her credit. She is also a member of various Scientific Committees and prestigious organizations.
Mr. Narasimha Murthy - Associate Professor
MSc (Statistics)
Presently working as an Associate professor at ICRI since 2008, before joining this institution he worked as a faculty in various medical colleges in Bangalore city teaching medical statistics & Clinical epidemiology to medical, dental and nursing students at under-graduate and post-graduate level for nearly 36 years. He is a statistical consultant for several industries who are doing clinical research. He was also associated with WHO projects. He has several publications to his credit in national and international journals. He is a founder member of “ANUSANDHANA” which provides consultancy in statistics for research projects.
Mrs. V. Vijaya Lakshmi - Assistant Professor
M. Pharm
She is a post graduate from Andhra University, topper and gold medalist in her post graduation and graduation. A keen academician and working on getting a Doctorate in Philosophy, she has been associated with ICRI since its inception four years ago, also working as a regional coordinator for MSc Clinical Research, foundation year. She is currently involved in projects related to Clinical Research.
Mrs. G. Swapna - Assistant Professor
M. Pharma – Pharmacology
Having done her post graduation in Pharmacology from Sri Padmavati Mahila University with research topics in the areas of depression and memory, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmacology. She underwent industrial training in Biological Evans Pvt. Ltd. and is a gold medalist in both graduation and post graduation at University level. She is a life member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association. She has presented papers & posters at various conferences. She is associated with ICRI as Assistant Professor since the past four years. She has an experience of regional coordinator for MSc Senior batch (Cranfield year) and Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research at Bangalore campus.
Dr. R. Rohini – Associate Professor
MSc (Chemistry), MBA, PGD (QM & AHO), PhD
She was a senior Research Associate in Astra Zeneca Pharma. Ltd. After completing her MBA, she pursued her Doctoral studies at the University of Mysore. She has published research papers in National/International Journals and presented papers at National / International conferences. Her area of interest is Human Resource Management and TQM in Healthcare services. She has 13 years of industry experience and 5 years of academic experience. She is a life member of AHA (Academy of Hospital Administration), India; a life member of ISHA (Indian Society of Hospital Administrators) and Member of ISTR (International Society for Third Sector Research). She currently teaches Clinical Research at ICRI Bangalore campus.
Mrs. Monica Abrol - Assistant Professor
MSc (Microbiology)
Mrs. Abrol is a Microbiologist with an Industry and Academic experience of 11 years in Clinical Data Management, QA/QC, R&D, Project Management, People Management, Career Counseling, and Clinical Data Management. She has worked in Biotech Industries for 3 years as a Microbiologist. She is a certified Clinical Data Manager and has served Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. in the CDM division for 5 years where she was trained by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals at Cambridge, USA to transition the process to India. She has worked and led studies on Translational Research, Women’s Health, Musculoskeletal, Cardiovascular, Hemophilia, and Vaccines Therapeutic areas. She is currently associated with ICRI as an Assistant Professor and involved in various in-house and corporate training programs and projects for Clinical Data Management. She also conducts soft skill sessions in coordination with the management team.
Dr. Shubha. R - Lecturer

She is a BDS graduate from M. S. Ramaiah Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore and has over 7 years of experience as a practicing Dentist. She has a Masters in Clinical Research from Cranfield University, UK and has been associated with ICRI for over two and half years as a Lecturer. She has conducted a research project in Pharmacovigilance in collaboration with Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Center, Bangalore. She is the regional course coordinator for MSc in Clinical Research - Cranfield year and is also in-charge of Quality Assurance personnel for ICRI Ethics Committee. She is involved in guiding MSc and PG Diploma students in thesis/dissertation. Along with teaching she is actively involved in various industrial research projects and conducting Training Programs on Clinical Research topics for the Industry.
Dr. Lincy Jaison - Lecturer

Dr. Lincy is a Dental Surgeon from Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore and has completed PGDCR from ICRI, Bangalore. She has been practicing dentistry since the past 10 years now. She has also worked as a Research Co-coordinator at a reputed research centre at Bangalore and has a very good experience on complete Clinical Trial Management. She is currently associated with ICRI as a Lecturer. She is also the regional coordinator for PG diploma in Clinical Trial Management, PG Diploma in Clinical research and MSc Clinical Research - Foundation year. She is member of Ethics committee and Scientific Review Committee at ICRI. She is actively involved in teaching and guiding students on various academic and industry projects.
Ms. Diana Francis - Research Associate

Ms. Diana Francis has completed her MSc in Clinical Research from ICRI Bangalore. She has done a project on Prevalence of self-medication with antimicrobials in Bangalore. She is the regional course coordinator for PG Diploma in Advanced Clinical Research and PG Diploma Clinical Research. She is actively involved in Ethics Committee (IIEC-B) and Scientific Review Committee (ICRI SRC) related work, industrial research projects, corporate training program and actively involved in teaching and guiding students in their research projects.
Dr. (Col) S. C. Mohanty - Assistant Professor & HOD ICRI Health

As a competent teacher and academician in the field of Health & Hospital Administration, rich with 34 years of commendable service in Army Medical Core with administrative responsibilities in various segments along with 4 years of experience with 250 bedded multispecialty hospitals. During his service career he has earned a lot of appreciation and received a lot of awards for his dedicated work. During his commanding officer’s tenure in military hospitals, the Hospital was awarded the ‘Best Hospital Trophy’ for Southern zone. Besides, he has received ‘Commendation Medal’ for the provision of best healthcare facilities for the patient care. His key result area in the field of hospital administration is ‘Role of hospital structure is the achievement of patient satisfaction’. He had presented a number of papers in various seminars during his service career and one of these important paper presented at “Qualicon Conference at AIIMS, New Delhi is ‘Patient Satisfaction survey, an important tool in quality assurance programme in a multispecialty hospital’. The paper is based on the study conducted at few military hospitals during his service career. He has done a project on the ‘Role of modernized care in multispecialty hospitals with quality assurance programme in achievement of patient satisfaction’.
Mrs. Gayathri Trilok - Lecturer

With over 12 years of experience in various fields, Mrs. Gayathri was associated with companies like Macmillan India Ltd., a Scientific Journal Publishing Company for 4.5 years in pre-editing department and Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. in Clinical Data Management project for 3.5 years. She was trained in Clinical Data Management from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Philadelphia, USA and certified for the same. Currently she is associated with ICRI as an Assistant Manager for Clinical Data Management. She is involved in training the MSc and PG students on Clinical Data Management. She is also actively involved in the student’s soft skill development program, guiding the student in projects and various other academic programs.
Mrs. Ritu Sharma - Lecturer

Mrs. Ritu is a science graduate and an MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management from Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur (2004) a leading institute in the field of health management in this country. She has undergone training at Escorts Hospital and has worked with Moolchand Hospital, New Delhi where she conducted the Business Process re-engineering study for the hospital and was the coordinator and executor for the consolidation of ISO certification and subsequently implementation of the accreditation programme of the hospital for accreditation by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) and Healthcare Facilities. Her major expertise lies with Hospital planning and designing and her last assignment was with Apollo project division. Working in this area she has also executed Business plans for new hospital projects.

She is a graduate in Life Science from National College, Bangalore and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Research from ICRI. She has done a Research project on the irrational drug therapy. She is currently working as a Research Associate at ICRI Bangalore campus.
Dr. Shweta Gaur - Asst. Professor - Medical Tourism
PhD (Tourism), JNU, New Delhi
With an M. Phil and Doctorate in Tourism from Jawaharlal Nehru University, she brings immense experience of academics and industry to the institute. She has worked, on UNDP and Ministry of Tourism's project for 'Endogenous Rural Tourism’. She has been the HOD for the Tourism department at the 'Academy for Business Management and Tourism Research' and faculty for tourism at Jyoti Niwas College, Bangalore. She has also worked with ‘INDEBO India Pvt. Ltd’ as a Tour Executive. She has presented several papers on ‘Tourism and Rural Development’, ‘Marketing’, ‘Consumer Behavior’, ‘Cultural Tourism’ at different conferences and also has publications in reputed journals. She started her academic career as a Research Assistant with Prof. Sathish Kumar, CSRD, JNU, New Delhi (2002). She has also taught at the under graduate level at the University during the tenure of her PhD at JNU.
