UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme has broadened career avenues in the aviation sector. It is a regional airport development and "Regional Connectivity Scheme" (RCS) of the Government of India, with the objective of "Let the common citizen of the country fly," aimed at making air travel affordable and widespread to boost inclusive national economic development, job growth and air transport infrastructure development of all regions and states of India.

UDAN ('UdeDeshka Aam Naagrik') is a first-of-its-kind scheme globally to stimulate regional connectivity through a market-based mechanism under which 200 airports are under creation that will need qualified professionals. To fulfill this, the Union Budget 2023 has mentioned creating 50 additional airports, helipads, water aerodromes, and advanced landing groups to be received to improve regional air connectivity.

What Will You Become After Pursuing Executive MBA in Aviation?
Air Traffic Managers -
Manage the daily activities and operations at airports, which could include compliance with legal and safety measures, timeliness, and general order in the airport.
Aviation Planners -
They work in the background of airport facilities, infrastructure, and air service planning and are in an excellent position to be employed as an aviation planner.

Airlines Station Agent
Working at the arrival and departure gates of an airport involves:

- Working with changes in plane scheduling.
- Other responsibilities that help keep the airline operation streamlined.
Where Will You Work ?
Fleet Management -
FFleet managers take care of the logistics of maintaining a fleet of aircraft so that companies that rely on aircraft transportation in their business can remove or minimize the risks associated with aircraft investment, improving efficiency and productivity.
Ground Handling -
To facilitate an aircraft flight or aircraft ground repositioning, preparation for and upon conclusion of a flight, which will include both customer service and ramp service functions.
Customer Service -
Support customers regarding queries, problems, or concerns about travel and logistics. They may also assist with baggage reclaim, reservations, check-in processes, and ticketing mechanisms before a flight.
Crew Scheduling -
Crew schedulers are responsible for managing the day-to-day flight activities of crew members while also ensuring compliance with department standards
Safety and Security -
A dedicated team of trained police forces is employed to ensure airport and aircraft safety. The security staff uses sniffer dogs to detect any unclaimed object lying around the airport.
In- Flight Service -
Inflight services are those provided to or affecting aircraft in flight or otherwise operating on the airport surface.
Ticketing -
The Ticketing Officer helps passengers to plan for their trips. They answer questions on travel arrangements, such as routes and time schedules.
