    Air Traffic Managers: Air Traffic Managers control the daily activities and operations of airports, which may include compliance with legal and safety requirements, punctuality, and overall order.

    • Fleet Management ­- Fleet managers handle the logistics of managing an aircraft fleet, allowing businesses that rely on aviation transportation to eliminate or reduce the risks associated with aircraft investment, hence increasing efficiency and productivity.
    • Ground Handling is used to support an aircraft flight or aircraft ground relocation, as well as the preparation for the end of a flight, and includes both customer service and ramp service responsibilities.
    • Customer Service provides assistance to customers with questions, problems, or concerns concerning travel and logistics. They may also help with luggage reclaim, bookings, check-in procedures, and ticketing before a flight.
    • Crew Schedulers manage crew members' daily flight operations and ensure compliance with department requirements.
    • Safety and Security- A dedicated team of professional police officers is utilized to ensure airport and aircraft safety. The security personnel use sniffer dogs to discover any unclaimed objects lying about the airport.
    • In- Flight Service are those offered to or affecting aircraft in flight or otherwise operating on the airport's surface.

    The Indian aviation industry employs over 23.5 million people annually, with
    approximately 2.5-5 lacs jobs being created solely in the sector.

    The UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme has expanded career opportunities in the aviation sector. It is a regional airport development and "Regional Connectivity Scheme" (RCS) of the Government of India, with the goal of making air travel affordable and accessible to all citizens.

    UDAN ('UdeDeshka Aam Naagrik') is a first-of-its-kind scheme globally to stimulate regional connectivity through a market-based mechanism under which 200 airports are under creation that will need qualified professionals.

    To fulfil the same, Union Budget 2023 has mentioned to create 50 additional airports, helipads, water aerodromes and advanced landing groups to be received for improving the regional air connectivity.
