    Air Traffic Managers- They manage the daily activities and operations at airports, which could include compliance with legal and safety measures, timeliness, and general order in the airport.

    Aviation Planners-  They work in the background of airport facilities, infrastructure, and air service planning and are in an excellent position to be employed as aviation planners.

    Resource Manager - Responsible for ensuring the coordination of aircraft and crew. Aviation Resource Management specialists make sure that missions run as smoothly as possible.

    Purchase Manager- The purchase manager coordinates the purchase plan for all the goods necessary for the airline's business.

    Flight Dispatcher- An aircraft dispatcher is employed by an airline and is heavily involved in the pre-planning of flights to ensure the trip's safety. Flight dispatchers coordinate all activities on the ground at an airport to ensure the safe, quick, and efficient turnaround of aircraft from when they land.

    Airlines Station Agent - Works at an airport's arrival and departure gates, helping people with carry-on baggage, coordinating seat assignments, working with changes in plane scheduling, and other responsibilities that help keep the airline operation streamlined.
     

    Where Will You Work?

    • Avenues are presented to professionals in Airports, Airlines, Cargo, Private Charter Companies, and Helicopter Companies. Students may go in the following areas of work:
    • Fleet Management ­- Fleet managers take care of the logistics of maintaining a fleet of aircraft so that companies that rely on aircraft transportation in their business can remove or minimize the risks associated with aircraft investment, improving efficiency and productivity
    • Ground Handling - to facilitate an aircraft flight or ground repositioning, preparation for, and upon conclusion of a flight, including customer service and ramp service functions.
    • Customer Service- support to customers regarding queries, problems, or concerns they have about travel and logistics. They may also assist with baggage reclaim, reservations, check-in processes, and ticketing mechanisms before a flight.
    • Crew Scheduling-  crew schedulers are responsible for managing the day-to-day flight activities of crew members while also ensuring compliance with department standards
    • Safety and Security- A dedicated team of trained police forces ensures airport and aircraft safety. The security staff uses sniffer dogs to detect unclaimed objects around the airport.
    • In-Flight Service - Inflight services are those provided to or affecting aircraft in flight or otherwise operating on the airport surface.
    • Ticketing- The Ticketing Officer helps passengers plan their trips. They answer questions on travel arrangements, such as routes and time schedules.
    • Medical Tourism-  Facilitates traveling outside the country of residence to receive medical care.

    • UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme has broadened the career avenues in the aviation sector. It is a regional airport development and "Regional Connectivity Scheme" (RCS) of the Government of India, with the objective of "Let the common citizen of the country fly", aimed at making air travel affordable and widespread to boost inclusive national economic development, job growth and air transport infrastructure development of all regions and states of India.
    • UDAN ('UdeDeshka Aam Naagrik') is a first-of-its-kind scheme globally to stimulate regional connectivity through a market-based mechanism under which 200 airports are under creation that will need qualified professionals. To fulfill the same, Union Budget 2023 has mentioned creating 50 additional airports, helipads, water airfields, and advanced landing groups to be received for improving regional air connectivity.
